The Bible teaches that God is the owner of everything, including our money and possessions. Jesus said that our attitude toward money is an indicator of our hearts, and Paul instructs us to give cheerfully, sacrificially, and regularly. When we give, we give back to God what He already owns. Our giving is an indication of trust, discipleship, and commitment, an active expression of our faith that recognizes God as the true provider. It affirms our trust in His ability to supply all of our needs.

Why We Give

We give as an act of gratitude, dependence, and obedience. We give because it allows us to partner with God in His work in the world. As such, giving requires the highest standard of faithfulness and discipline. It is not a casual or occasional thing. Our giving should reflect a regular and systematic plan. We should give, not by meeting some obligatory percentage, but gladly sacrificing for the sake of the gospel because Jesus sacrificed for us, and all we have is His.

Direct Giving

Checks and cash can be placed in the offering bags during the Sunday worship celebration using the envelopes provided for your convenience. Checks may be made payable to Granada Hills Community Church and can also be mailed to the church office at 11263 Balboa Blvd Granada Hills CA 91344.

Do I need to register to give online?

No, you do not need to register to give online. Simply choose a fund, enter the amount, input the correct account and billing information, and click “SUBMIT”. However, it is important that you use the same email address each time you give, and registering to create an account will ensure this happens without having to remember which email address you used previously. In addition, creating an account will allow you to set up and schedule recurring gifts through auto-pay, as well as keep track of your giving history.

What is a convenience fee?

The easyTithe™ platform we use to process our online and mobile giving charges a fee for every transaction. By opting to pay the convenience fee, you help cover the costs and maximize the impact of your giving. Please note that the option to cover the convenience fee is currently not available through the easyTithe™ mobile app.

Why was I charged $0.25 on my credit/debit card on top of my donation?

On occasion, you may find an extra charge of $0.25 when you use your credit or debit card to give. Not to worry, this is a hold charge easyTithe™ uses to make sure that your credit/debit account is active. It will be removed from your account in a few days.
